13 – The Dome
The Crown of Thorns and Roses
All souls seek the Kingdom of Heavenly Love and all eyes desire to see the face of Jesus, King of Glory. The crown of thorns encompassing the dome mural symbolizes that the transition from this world to the Kingdom of Heaven happens only when we carry our crosses of pain.
As Jesus told his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” Only Jesus can relieve us of our pain, fear and suffering and change our thorns into roses, which fill our souls with happiness and peace.

He loves, He hopes, He waits. Our Lord prefers to wait Himself for the sinner for years rather than keep us waiting an instant.
