At a time when wars are still devastating countries around the world, and Churches are still suffering in the Middle East, let us respond fully to the prayer of Jesus “that they may all be one”.
Let Us Unite in Solidarity with all the Victims of War!
Let Us Unite in Support of Eastern Christians!
Let Us not miss this blessed jubilee year, “Pilgrims of Hope”.
Let Us indeed spread Hope of Peace, Unity and Fraternity, especially in this important year for all Christians, namely, the 1700th anniversary of the celebration of the first Ecumenical Council, that of Nicaea which sought to preserve the Church’s unity, showing the importance of ensuring the unity of God’s people who, by the grace of the Holy Spirit, unanimously approved the Creed which begins by “We believe”, as a sign that all Churches were in communion, and that all Christians professed the same faith.
This is a Call for Parishes & Monasteries, all over The 5 Continents, to Participate In The Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament, on The Feast Of The Exaltation Of The Holy Cross, on September 14th 2025.
Let Us pray for the intentions of Peace in the World, Unity of Churches and Christians, as well as Fraternity amongst all peoples.
Moreover we are to pray for our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV’s intentions on his birthday.
This initiative aims at offering 1700 hours of Eucharistic Adoration, Simultaneously Worldwide, at any hour that a parish or monastery would choose, on September Sunday 14th 2025.
The Eucharistic Hymn “AdoroTe Devote”, meaning i adore You devoutly, is usually attributed to St Thomas Aquinas.
The organisers of this event chose this hymn as a tribute to St Thomas Aquinas whom we are celebrating the 800th anniversary since his birth.
This initiative is being launched by RAYA: The Rosary and Adoration Youth Apostles, a platform affiliated to the shrine of Saint Maria Goretti Miziara in Lebanon, with the blessings of Mgr Youssef Soueif Archbishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Tripoli Lebanon, in collaboration with APL the Association for the Development of Pilgrimages and Religious Tourism in Lebanon, knowing that its members are mainly rectors of the Lebanese Sanctuaries, and with the encouragement and participation of the Carmelites Monastery Harissa Lebanon 🇱🇧.
