6 – The Church Door

The thirteenth Station of the Cross is engraved on the front of the door. This three dimensional carving depicts Jesus when he is taken off the cross and laid in his mother’s arms. This door serves as the backdrop for the altar when mass is celebrated outside in the shrine square.

He loves, He hopes, He waits. Our Lord prefers to wait Himself for the sinner for years rather than keep us waiting an instant.
