3 – The Hill

In Miziara, on the hill, “Roses and Candles for Raya”, stands the first shrine in Lebanon and the Middle East dedicated to the Italian Saint, Maria Goretti. This shrine, which overlooks the area between Akkar and Batroun, was built to worship Jesus in the Holy Sacrament and to raise awareness of Maria Goretti, the martyr of purity and the messenger of forgiveness.

He loves, He hopes, He waits. Our Lord prefers to wait Himself for the sinner for years rather than keep us waiting an instant.
